Badges that can be earned in 2022 include
- Social Media Influencer– best social media posts*
- Spirit of GovHack – competitors who learn, share knowledge, and help others*
- Slack Star – competitors who contribute meaningfully to the Slack community*
- Trivia Champ – winners of the competition weekend trivia event
- GovHack Participant – all competitors who participate in the competition
- GovHack Volunteer – all volunteers who help make the competition possible
- GovHack Mentor – all mentors who helped during the competition
- Inclusive Collaborator – for teams that meaningfully include and help in-person and online participants
- Challenge Winner – awarded per challenge
- Challenge Runner Up – awarded per challenge
- Challenge Honourable Mention – not a prize winner, but still a great project
